Well what exactly is your definition of "now" dumbass...do tell?

Why the insult? Completely unnecessary.

He has to have results similar to Miles, at a minimum for his entire coaching tenure. Miles never finished with 7 wins at LSU. Not once. So 8 is the absolute floor.

8-9 wins means the hire was a massive waste of time, but at least that's "consistency." So if that was our goal then leadership should be happy.

He has to have 11+ wins in one of the next 2-3 seasons for this hire to make any sense whatsoever. If he doesn't get above 10 wins in 2-3 seasons, then that's a problem and it means the hire was not a good one. And that's being incredibly generous.

Unless, as a program, we aren't interested in competing for a National Championship. If that's the case, then 8-9 win seasons and maybe a once in every 5 year SEC Championship should be fine, and we should be happy. I believe this is what most people see as the goal, because that's the only way Ed makes sense (and this is why he could be impossible to get rid of).

The funny part is he crapped on miles for years and now he gets upset when any mentions FACTS about ed Orgeron's career before lsu.

Exactly. If you deemed it underachieving when miles had 10 wins then why shoukdnt we expect 10 wins from the new coach.

They are already explaining away things theu wouldve blasted the previous coach for.
Against Florida its no longer on the head coach when the offense looks lost on a critical play.
They are already saying the takent miles left is a steaming pile of mess(direct quote from Red).
They are already saying to not expect 10 wins for 2 years

The narrative of the talent at lsu, what constitutes underachieving, and the blame a head coach gets has shifted by a huge margin.
