Anyone -- of any color/race -- wearing these, only proves how ignorant they are with money. It does not prove you are a baller. It proves you are a fricking moron.
First of all, the guy has not played a second in the league, and frankly will more than likely be a bust. Secondly, the shoes are ugly. Third, they have no discernible features to justify the ridiculous price. Fourth, any and all people wearing these shoes will only be doing so to show people you can spend $500 on a pair of shoes. The caveat, however, is that the only people who will be impressed, are fellow morons.

Of course, there is only one way to be dumb with money. Jesus easy with the paternalism.

As if other people don't get their big ol trucks, or golf memberships, or hunting boats, or rolex watches to show how rich they are. i could go on and on and on. Keep showing your true colors buddy

I think it would be prudent to learn how comfortable they are, how well they perform on the court and how rugged the construction is before we pass judgement on value relative to price.

From this NYT article, it doesn't sound like they will be flying off the shelves, but experts still believe they will sell 10,000 pairs. NYT ON ZO2s
quote:
Matt Powell, a sports industry analyst at NPD Group, estimated Big Baller Brand would sell 10,000 pairs, which he described as a “rounding error” given the 400 million pairs of shoes Nike made last year.
quote:
Someone who pre-orders ZO2s today would be guaranteed shipping, according to Big Baller Brand, by Nov. 24 — a hint, Powell suggested, at the six-month lead time typically required to make and transport new shoes.
