Yes, right now, they do but the trend is moving in the opposite direction.
The Republican base is more passionate right now than ever but it's continually shrinking.
Look at the demographics trend buddy...sinking ship unless it moves closer to the center.

all evidence to the contrary my man, and please spare me the bogus polls........MADAME PRESIDENT!
typical polling includes 24% republicans even though we control 33 governorship's, 31 legislatures, the house, the senate and the white house. in 2016 the republican house received 2 million more votes than house dems.
i guess that's the gerrymandering!

I highly doubt that considering polls continue to show that this next generation coming up (Generation Z) is the most conservative generation since World War II.
