Absolutely loved our draft. Not sure I would have done the Kamara trade just because I hate giving up a 2nd rounder but if it means no more Cadet, I'm fine with it. I also would have gone with one of the QBs over Muhammed. Chad Kelly or Brad Kaaya would have been a more rewarding pick in my opinion but another damn fine draft altogether.

I loved our draft but one small knock on Kamara. He's great getting to the second level and finding open space but did anyone else notice that in a lot of his highlights he gets caught a lot when running downfield? contrast that with the AP highlights someone posted yesterday. Once AP gets behind the secondary, even last year, it's game over. Not really true with Kamara, at least in the highlights I watched. I'm not sure being "fast" is his biggest attribute. That said he's quick and shifty and I like the pick.

I don't really think this was the year to pick a QB. Yeah a lot of them have the physical tools to make it but I just don't see any of them with that IT factor. Mahomes definitely has the arm you want and perhaps the staff was confident they could turn him into a starter. They managed to turn Chase Daniel into a solid pro that other teams wanted. Next year's class looks more promising in my opinion.

If they moved the 3rd this year too I could see it...but they basically just took the 2nd from next year this year.

If you are drafting a QB in the 6th round you are essentially just knowingly throwing away a draft pick.
