Foreclosure preservation or foreclosure prevention?

I would assume a contractor on REO properties is going to be doing mainly small repairs, winterizing, lawn maintenance, securing the property, etc.

May not be a bad way to earn a couple bucks while in school and learning a bit about construction/housing industry.

It is preservation doing those exact tasks you listed.

Im 30 years old, late blooming going back to school. I dont need a lot of money but something steady would be necessary. Im waiting to hear back on the average workload of the area.

Hard pass. I was good until I found out that I would be on the hook for materials with no repayment.

I could see this being a good gig if you had a crew or 2 and some good subs for roof replacements and stuff, operating in volume.
