Oh damn. I thought it was 39 for some reason.

So even worse.

Mahomes
Foster
Cook
Riley
Probably still Hendrickson
Probably still Muhammad
Probably someone who wouldn't make the team in the 7th Kept next year's 2nd

Would you rather that or what we got?

Hard to say honestly. This would have set us up beautifully for life after Brees. Where as I'm sure that this years will draft will help us win in the next two years.

Just depends on what you prefer I guess. Continued mediocrity for a few more years until full rebuild takes over or win now.

I really think Kamara is exactly what we needed at RB. Only second to McCaffery

If they would have ended up with Lattimore, Foster, and Cook...

Our defense was statistically below average. 26th passing and 21st rushing. Sharper just forced a ton of turnovers during the early part of the season, the vikes coughed it up A BUNCH , and Porter balled out. It wasn't some juggernaut defensive team.

We very much gained the winning mentality by running the ball early and often that year. Kamara is a much better pass catching back than Cook is. Cook catches well enough but Kamara looks mike sproles or bush catching the ball. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he even moves to slot at times to catch underneath routes.

Not a fact. The defense was 25th in total D. But they allowed the Saints to dominate turnover ratio.

That tells me two things

(1) we have a leak within the FO or in the reporting that too much information is given.

2) Maybe Payton is easy to read, but also with the visits and comments that we make.

I don't think it was any secret that Payton loved Mahomes and Kamara and needed Foster.

We got jumped so many times. Our draft could've have been Mahomes, Foster and Cook. I'm not saying it would've been better but definitely different.

Sounds like they may need a plumber on Airline Drive.
