Only "disco" tune I care for is Blondie's Heart of Glass.
Along with 'Miss You' by the Stones, and '(Wish I Could Fly Like)Superman, by the Kinks.

Funny people posting Blondie I always considered them New Wave, not really Disco. Heart of Glass defiantly has Disco influences though.

Heart of Glass
was played at least 5-6 times a night every night at discos i went to.
There was actually a line dance that went a long with it.

That's why they're one of my favorite bands. Their sound crossed genres but always seemed rooted in NW and punk.

Miss You - The Rolling Stones
Wyman's bass lines....Funky
People revolted when that came out. The great Stones sell out.

Shows what they know, that song reached no. 1 on the U.S. charts and no. 3 in the U.K. so the Stones laughed all the way to the bank as it propelled Some Girls to no. 1 on the albums chart and their best-selling album in the U.S.

Call on Me was a great tune as well

Damned, Heatwave was a very good band. Temperton went on to write several hits for Michael Jackson.

We have Temperton to thank for Rock With You, Off The Wall, and Thriller.
