3 days in a row not showing up

I should be good to hire another contractor to fix it all up and go after original contractor, right?

Lawn contractor to build up beds and fix garden and install drip system. Beds not done and drip system not started

I suggest that you give him a deadline in writing (email or something you can prove he received) and tell him what you intend to do first.

What does the contract say about deadline? Has he been off because of weather? Is he hired hourly and not on a contract?

Need more info

It is a bad contract. I will concede as much. Does not denote a schedule. He said he would be here on Saturday and did not show. Same for yesterday and today. Weather has not been an issue.

Why do people ever pay before work is complete? I can't ever remember paying any type of contractor until the work was complete. I don't think reputable contractors ask for money up front.

Hold up... they haven't shown but have you tried visiting them on their soil? Rolled up asking for the HLIC?

Might be able to get my guy to you. Just finished my beds and installed a drip system cheap the last couple of days.
