It started in earnest in the 60s with Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals but in spirit it started after the third Aliyah around the end of WW I with the Bolsheviks, the migration to NYC and Palestine followed by the suffrage movement and women getting the right to vote ... that's where it all started.
