Peat is our starting LG. No need to compare them.

I'm talking about the hype coming out of the draft

"As much as anyone in this class, Ramczyk has rare feet and movement skills for a big man. If he dropped 50 pounds, it wouldn’t surprise me if he could become an NFL-caliber tight end. The Wisconsin tackle also has the elite production to back up his hype; he was the highest-graded FBS tackle in 2016, allowing 12 QB pressures all season long."

Peat was a guy with good lower body strength and smarts but had a lot to work on with technique. He was considered a high upside guy b/c he was also a little younger than most coming out of college and still hadn't filled out yet. This guy is the opposite, not the best frame but very good technique. He is a little more mobile than what Peat was.

From PFF: they are big fans

Stat to know: Ramczyk’s 84.6 run-blocking grade led all FBS offensive tackles in 2016
quote:
He is scheme-versatile as he can make all of the necessary blocks in the run game while doubling as one of the best pass-protectors in the class.
