I would love to see it, I'd go down and watch several times per year.
I don't think it would be a success overall though.
Easier to support 8 football games per year, or a basketball arena that seats 30-40% of an MLB stadium for half as many home games.

Agreed. I said for a while that it could be supported. But the more I think about it the less it makes sense.
Nola would be the smallest market team by a decent margin. Even if you include BR. Too many diehard college baseball fans in a state that has incredibly high attendance for their home teams.
