re: Did you take trips with your grandparents when you were younger?

We took the Amtrack from NO to Virginia. We had rooms in the sleeper car, and I remember when the train went around a curve, your water would spill out of your glass and peas would roll off your plate. We rented a car and drove to Charlottesville to see Monticello, Jamestown to see the settlement and fort, Colonial Williamsburg, Newport News, etc. It was a ten day trip and I celebrated my 13th birthday during that time. Awesome.
