My house is always crazy, so we use a crockpot a lot. Some recipes only cook for 6 hours, so I can set the plug to turn on around noon.
I will take the same plug and use it while giving my son breathing treatments from his nebulizer. After setting up the masks, medicine, tubes, and getting in place to distract him with TV, I can just hit start on my phone since I can't reach the machine easily.
