Ah good call. Didn't think about that. I've come with it. Used it on a sunburn as well as chapped lips from windburn this last winter from the elements outside at work. Never thought about accreting with it. I thought they were full of shite. Evidently not.

It actually does the opposite in my experience.

We did a 70 mile bike ride over a few days in Utah. My wife ended up with an infection. Being in the middle of the desert, she used the only thing she had. Coconut oil. 12 hours later, good as new.
