I will also be there later this year. We went to Maui beginning of the year and loved it! Figured we try a different island this time around.
Staying at Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu (Marriott 7 nights free voucher).

A lot less tourist on Kauai...less traffic, etc.
Maui maxed out years ago.
