The unemployment rate is not the effective rate of unemployed in the US. It's a metric put out by the government and they have their own fancy formula that doesn't mean what you think it means. I'm not saying jobs aren't at a new low, I'm just saying the unemployment rate isn't a reliable source of knowledge on that subject.

I think you need to put "obama administration" in place of government. It makes it specifically accurate.
