I hope Jurgen not using his last-sub to cap-tie him when it was 3-0 in the 75th minute vs Costa Rica doesn't come back to haunt us.

Haunt us how? His only other international option would be England correct? Have they shown any interest? To be clear, I'm not downplaying his talent or saying he's not good enough for England so he's settling for the USMNT. I just haven't heard much about England pursuing him so I'm genuinely asking - Has England contacted him at all?

Like someone else said, I would be very disappointed if he wasn't on the plane to Russia. Possibly even as a starter. He will be 20 when the WC kicks off. That's not too young to be considered for a starting spot. If he is good enough for a consistent spot on Spurs bench, surely he will have a spot on the World Cup squad. He seemingly has all the traits to be a potential top tier CB. The only reason he's not getting any real minutes for Spurs is because he has the Premier Leagues best CB tandem playing ahead of him. He also seems very mature for his age. Both physically mature and more importantly, mentally. He seems like a smart, down to earth kid. I had to do a double take reading those quotes from Poch and King. Very high praise from one of the world's best managers and the best CB in the clubs history.

If, for whatever reason, England realizes what they could have, they put the full court press on a guy who, lets be honest, is more English than American.

I think technically, he could finagle his way onto France because Hi-C did get French citizenship while playing overseas. But yeah, it's going to be either us or England and we're in the lead.

Tab said something in that story that he thinks England has reached out to him, which is rumored to have played a part in why Jurgen called him up to the senior team last November.

In place of who?

That's pretty fricking young.

Since 1990, we've only started four players in the World Cup that were 20 years old:

Eric Wynalda in 1990
Landon Donovan and DaMarcus Beasley in 2002
Jozy Altidore in 2010

We've actually never started someone younger than that, but barring something catastrophically ridiculous, Pulisic will be starting for us in Russia at age 19.
