How many injuries do you think were happening during that time???

Youre arguing against the laws of physics. The ball came off the bat and lot faster using the old bats. That simple fact made them less safe.im not arguing for or against but having the ball come off the bat a little slower makes it safer. Would you rather get hit by a car traveling 10 mph or 30 mph?

I have a physics degree. I wasn't mentioning physics. I'm asking you how many injuries do you think were taking place with those bats?

Fine... Let's talk physics then. Deichmann can hit a baseball 110+ mph. Most guys are in the 90s. 90 mph (132 fps) to 110 mph (161 fps) in 60 ft is a difference of 80 milliseconds. A blink takes approx 300 milliseconds. Again, how many injuries does that equate to?
