get off at the Whiskey Bay exit and go north on HWY 975 which is a gravel road (make sure you check in at the self check station on the right about 2 miles after you get off I-10)...then keep going another mile and a half till you get to Bayou Manual rd...take a right and follow it to Happytown rd...go a few hundred feet and turn left on Refuge rd... it curves to the left and turns into Landing rd...a few hundred yards there is a nice concrete double landing you can put in at...
you're going through the woods the whole time you turn onto Bayou Manual rd....so don't freak out...it's all part of the Sherburne WMA complex...
