I usually just say stained. If the water is dark but has good visibility, then its tannic. Typical in water with a bunch of trees in them.

Talked to one guy, he had one bream on crickets. Didn't talk to one boat, and the other was a mom and dad with two small kids, looked like they were bream fishing, but we didnt speak with them either.
And tannic sounds about right. Pretty decent visibility but still kinda dark.
Let me know if you make a trip out there. I'd like to know how someone with more experience does.
