Just finished The Land That Time Forgot (ep. 7?). So far this season, there hasn't been a classic episode (Manos, Puma Man, etc...), but there hasn't been a dud either. Each episode has been really good.
Probably the hardest I've laughed was the "Dear Trip Advisor" part at the end of Avalanche. Great stuff. PS: anyone recognize the young Robert Forster?

Watching episode 2, Cry Wilderness. This is up there with the worst movies ever featured. And they are just killing it. I love the new crew.
Their explanation for how this movie got made was just magnificent.
"This is actual footage of the actors attempting to escape the set of Cry Wilderness."

I watched the first episode last night. As others have mentioned, it took me a little while to get used to the new characters and for them to get in rhythm. By the end up the episode it felt just like the good ole days.
I definitely appreciate that it's not a bunch of modern references. They obviously did this for the old fans more than a new, young audience.
I watch an episode of mst3k almost every night after my wife goes to bed (she doesn't like my "robot shows"). They're all on youtube for anyone who doesn't know.
Can't wait to watch the rest of the new episodes!
On a side note, I've been on a kick of just watching all the shorts. I almost pissed myself from Assignment: Venezuela

Wrapped up the season tonight. I can't wait for more.
The most off the wall reference of the season came in the finale, when Crow mentioned the mirelurks from Fallout 4.
