re: Would being an astronaut be the ultimate 'What do you do' answer?

Anybody familiar with the arduous process of being an astronaut would be impressed because it is probably harder than anything but since they don't do flashy missions any more that might not have as much zing to the run of th mill uninformed person. They even mentioned how routine people were treating it in the Apollo 13 movie.

Lots of run of the mill people such as bimbos would probably be more impressed by a pro athlete.

If you say fighter pilot would be cool to be a Blue Angel or T-Bird because that is very selective too.
