i just bought a EGO electric blower and it works just as good as my gas blower. Was really impressed.
for $99 down from $199:
110 mph 530 CFM Variable-Speed Turbo 56-Volt Lithium-ion Cordless Leaf Blower
so if lithium battery operated mowers work like this then id say go for it. youd probably need to buy 2 or 3 batteries though depending on the size of your yard.

A bit pricey for the mower, if you get the battery and charger with it. Not astronomical though.
