Obviously I'm no expert, but I would say a jersey boss is about equal to a capo of one of the five families (although I do realize capos are often referred to as "bosses"), which makes Tony's day to day routine slightly ridiculous. And IIRC, once he becomes boss and/or when things start heating up, he becomes a bit more cautious.
Like I said, I'm not disagreeing. I'm just being difficult.
I agree with Peazy about the therapy. Suspension of disbelief is important for the sopranos, especially with the ghosts, the cat, and the other catholic stuff.
