Great show but not very realistic

According to the FBI, some Mafia families found it so realistic that they thought someone was feeding info to the writers.

I read the stuff like them meeting in Home Depot and a lot of money making schemes were on point. I think most of this board probably got a kick out of the dudes with awful New Orleans accent using Johnny sac for some Katrina funny business.

I just have a hard time believe that tony would talk on the phone as much as he did in the show. They undoubtly were tapping his phone and they talked a lot of business on that "beep beep beep da beep" phone

Tony as a mafia boss was just very unrealistic. Bosses don't murder people like he did. That task is for soldiers and wannabes. He also makes himself too easy of a target. Just strolls down the driveway in his robe to get the paper every morning, drives all the time without a bodyguard, etc. Seeing a shrink, particularly a woman, wouldn't happen.

I loved the show but no mob boss would survive very long acting like him
