We all know about the terrible Lexi Thompson incident. And I have seen a penalty iassessed in the past because one grain of sand was seen on super slo mo that flew up on a golfer's backswing. They have since changed the rule on this.

In today's final round at the Masters, there was a concern that Segio's ball may have moved while he was cleaning the pine straw around it. They replayed the event in super slo mo and it showed the ball did not move. But what if it did in an almost imperceptible way that can't be seen unless it is viewed in super slo mo? And what if the PGA assessed a penalty on Sergio a couple of holes later that resulted in him losing?

They need to limit call in etc

also they need to drop the penalty on wrong card non-sense.

This is off-topic but I didn't feel like it warranted starting a new thread.

What would happen if a fan intentionally moved a ball? Like let's say it's a playoff and a guy tees off and goes WAY off into the woods, and a fan in the woods who likes the golfer just picks the ball up and throws it right down the fairway. Now obviously teh fan would be escorted out and never allowed back, but I mean as it relates to the golf. Is that just "one of those things" and they just roll with it, or woudl they look at film and try to place the ball back to its original spot?
