Couldn't make this up. Was trimming one back, youngest son found the seeds and picked them off, cracked one up and Tank ate it.

Has already thrown up 3 times. My vet is on his way back to town from vacation but won't make it back here till midnight. Says to make him vomit as much as possible until no signs of the seed where coming up then bring him in first thing in the morning.

I know it's very toxic to dogs and the seeds are the worse part. Hope this isn't the end for my best friend of 12yrs

My old boss just lost his two labs to sago palms. Hope it all works out. It's bad news for a pup.

I don't think a lot of people know how poisonous they are for dogs.

Find a syringe and give him hydrogrpen peroxide until he pukes nothing but clear. I've done on two different dogs for rat poison, it messed up the second dogs stomach for a dpfew months. he'd puke clear stuff up, but other than that no I'll affects. Hope he's not hurt.

I had a dog eat rat poison and got the same advice from the vet...loaded him up with vegetable oil using a syringe and he was fine.

I am betting your pup is gonna be fine...you guys will just have a few miserable hours of worry.

I saved my Golden Retriever after he ate two large pieces of rat poison. Poured hydrogen peroxide from the bottle directly down his throat. He vomited all of it up. He lived for another 8 years.

I had no idea those plants were poisonous. Never cared for them anyway so now they sure won't have a spot in my flower beds.
