I can't imagine what poor looks like there now. I think the average NY police officer with about 5-8 years experience makes $110K.

There's a whole lot more of NY out there


A family making $125k a year probably shouldn't need a ton of need based support in-state, really. I'm not a huge fan of this one. At that point it should be mostly merit based.
