I've used the same 2 5 times this winter in not so great conditions in 30' water on a incoming tide and they're ready to go for next season. 19 bucks apiece. Once pulled up 3 Dungeness keepers. Have had a dozen or so little guys in it too at once. I'm using a heavy rod with 80 lb braid but that's in rough water/wind. They seem well put together. I just zip tie a lead to it and there's a bait post to hook the chicken.
I'll post a better pic.
Resting on the bottom opened up.
Bait post and there's a clip that holds it.
As soon as you start reeling in it snaps it closed.
Dimensions are 17.5" x 11.5"

Thanks for sharing the info. I didn't realize they were that big.
