St. Louis is such a disappointment. They have taken forever to get something going and it seems they're missing the boat. They are such a hotbed that I feel like soccer in this country could really benefit from them having a top division team. Oh well, maybe they can do the lower tier, grass roots thing like Cincinnati and also just have an awesome academy system or something.

dude its all fricked up due to how stl works. MLS only wants st louuis city to hold the team. Stl city has 320k ppl. for the most part most are not supportive of the sport of soccer.
The county has 2.5 million people, id say 75% in favor of soccer. MLS doesnt like "how far it is to downtown". Most cities i agree but this isnt how it works here.
