That's a lot of money being given to people who abhor entitlements and welfare handouts. Just by the numbers I can easily see 1.3B leftover as only about 35% +/- will be grabbed...

If it helps people who are a benefit to society get back on their feet and continue to be beneficial, I'm for it but like you say, I don't want a handout... which is why I didn't apply needlessly for a trailer when I could borrow one even though it was much smaller and why I straight up told the LA Shelter at home people to stay off my property. I don't care if it was "free cleaning and supplies" or whatever else they promised. It was bullshite.

What pisses me off to no end is that I been paying into that BS state insurance from Katrina. Half the time I forgot to claim that crap on my state taxes.
