Keyless entry is one of those things that most will think is silly and they don't really want right up until they have it on their car and will from then on never want a vehicle w/o it.
Sort of like things such as cup holders, seat warmers, steering wheel warmers, lane detection, usb ports, back up cameras, rear seats that fold down, automatic side mirrors, automatic rear tailgates, power windows etc.
shite, I'm sure at one point there were people who thought power steering was a waste of money.
