Anybody want to fish Rosemound tomorrow?

My father bought 2 acres on the fishing lake circa 1963 when it first was developed in hopes of building a lake house. Never did but I grew up cutting the grass on it.

But we had membership privileges and my older brother caught an 8lb 10oz at the damn one morning and his largest was mounted.

He died several years ago and I inherited his mount. So as I used to fish with him back then I've given that lake up to him. I just look up (as I am while typing this) smile and remember those days.

Good luck. Some friends caught a dozen bass and a few sacalait last Saturday. Did a work day at my grandmother's on Sunday. Took the kids for about an hour but couldn't find the sacalait. Will be there for Easter weekend. Hope you catch them.

Ended up hitting the water around 4 and fished till 7:15. I caught 7 bass ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 pounds. Caught one right off the bat with a June Bug red brush hog and then didn't catch another fish until I put on a culprit red shad 7 in fat max.

I went up yesterday for an evening fish. Had 3 of us in my boat and we caught 22 bass. 11 were keeper size. none of them were over 3 pounds. Surprised at the number of small fish we have been catching there. We have caught some monsters in Rosemound over the years.

I fish out of a red basscat... Our family has the camp for sale so I only have a limited time left to fish the lake.
