Why does that bother you? Regardless of what the left think, people should not lose their job because they express their opinion and it differs from other's opinions.
I do not agree with what he said/thinks and think he's nothing more than an attention whore trying to say controversial things to get people that are as closed minded as he is to like him. But, he should not lose his job and then potentially become unemployable because he said something controversial.

He's a carnival side show. He's the one that also tweeted that he wanted White Genocide.
LOL. He can't be fired. He's liberal teaching at a liberal university in a liberal city.

Not for the military tweet, but white genocide tweet. If he mentioned another races genocide, the media would be all over it and the school would have no choice but to fire him. Its hypocritical

You mean like Jimmy "The Greek"? Howard Cossell? and dozens of other examples?

This same standard of thought should be applied to the Colin Kaepernick fiasco

If they work for a private company, I have no problem with them losing their job if that opinion reflects badly on the company.
Also, we should shame smug assholes like this professor for the betterment of society. Douchiness isn't illegal, but it shouldn't be celebrated.
