What does Andrus have to do with Odor? They were in two completely different situations regarding service time... and it's not remotely close.

Odor will also enter free agency while in his prime. This isn't one of those Andrew McCutchen type raw deals either given his age. Win win for everyone here. There are "experts" who feel the Rangers should not have done this given the flaws in Odor's game that may or may not catch up to him.

Both of them (along with Martin Perez) signed long-term deals and essentially the teams bought out the arbitration years at team-friendly prices.

Also all three wanted the money to get their families out of the hell-hole that is Venezuela. Elvis has moved his family up here (I believe that's the case, and I don't know about Perez) and now Odor plans to do the same.

Just curious as a Rangers fan, what are the flaws that may catch up to him that you speak of?
