I think a lot of people won't like it, because they're expecting bourbon barrel stout and are going to get tart from it.
It's not my favorite beer, because I'm not a huge fan of tart stouts. That doesn't mean the beer is bad though. There's definitely a difference.

well my main reason for saying it will be awful is Tin Roof simply hasnt even shown they can "master" any of their standard offerings. All of their beers are pretty meh, expect smiling ivan and it's not THAT good.
now they have this half brew experiment that seems pretty similar to other recent releases by larger breweries (founders, terrapin) that they stumbled upon in a batch of half good, half sour barrels..... yum!
i'll let someone else try it first.....
