Such a fricking shame
Not really. The dude has the ball every single play. Look at the box score. He doesn't make his teammates better. He's a great player, don't get me wrong. He is one of my favorites and I have been a big supporter over the years, but the Thunder have talent and they basically have to stand around and watch him do his thing. He will win you OT games against Orlando but in the end, he's going to lead his team to at best the 5th seed. He's had an amazing even historical season but it won't be a shame when he doesn't win it.

Why does he have to make "make his teammates better" to be MVP?

and Harden does? Kanter has better advanced numbers across the board with Westbrook than he ever had with Utah.
Oladipo is better in some, worse in others. Same with Gordon and Anderson for Houston compared to NOLA.
let me know what talent you're referring to. Because it surely isn't Abrines, Roberson, Gibson, and whoever else can't hit an open shot to save their lives. reality is, houston has the overall better team.
Oladipo = Gordon
Kanter = Anderson
Adams = Capela
Houston has Ariza, Bev, and Lou Williams who was just as good as Gordon as a '6th' man while in LA.
That's better than anything else the Thunder put on the court.
