Obviously too much of it happened to spawn such a reprehensible culture as we are now 'enjoying.'

It's one thing to bemoan the culture overall. Or to complain about how trashy it is for the areas affected.

But Hannity's hell in a handbasket routine on Spring Break is one of the highlights of spring, IMO.

What is the end game though? I mean unless colleges just axe Spring Break all together it's always going to be a losing battle. Like you said one place bans it they'll go somewhere else.

Maybe we need to make some sort of resort beach that caters just to Spring Breakers during that season. Get a 5 mile stretch of beachside land somewhere in the middle of nowhere Florida (going towards the St. Marks/Big Bend area) and built like 5 mega resorts, each having 2,000 rooms. All the others months they can be catered to families but during March partner with the universities and have them be Spring Break resorts. This would let the Spring Breakers get hammered but be isolated from major cities and the general public.

I do agree that cities are starting to do as a preventative measure before it gets out of control.

The Hannity segments are funny though Hannity does come off as a "get off my lawn" geezer in the segments.
