No cops, but I just walked around and didn't see her or anything. A lot of people walk around the neighborhood at this time, and there's a tennis court across the street.

I would make someone aware of it. Just because of the fact they went to your back door. If anyone would try to force their way in or attempt to do something else, would they run the risk of someone seeing them from your backyard?

The only reason I ask this is because, there would be a difference if someone came to my front door asking for money than if they would come to my back door. If they come to the front door, there is enough traffic and activity going on that they would run the risk of someone seeing them, if they attempted something like trying to force themselves in, etc.

If they came to my back door. They would have to go out of their way to go there instead of my front door, which would immediately raise a flag.. My first thought would be "they came to the back door for a reason other than just asking for money. They have plans to do something they don't want to be seen doing"... Of course, she might not want to be seen begging for money, but to come back twice.. She is hard up for money right now.

Very possibly, and they most certainly would have been shot. The door opens outward, so I have the advantage, and I had my gun hidden behind the door both times.
