I would say this is an outlier, so my Lebron to Cleveland example, refereed to by someone as an outlier, is your answer.

And how does turning a team around equate to winning a championship. For most people turning a team around is taking a losing team and making it a winning team or a playoff team.

Colts and Jets are two others off the top of my head that went from top 5 in the draft to conference championship within a few years.

You can't seriously be arguing that it's easier to go from a doormat to into the playoffs in the NBA. That happens almost every year in the NFL.
