On its surface unless a replacement comes along for Brees that division has some pretty good talent at QB and no really bad teams in the future. I don't think the Saints are that hopeless but they've got a hard path in front of them.

We could rehash all the reasons why the Saints will be cellar dweller bad in 5 years, but let's don't.
What we do know is that Brees won't be around after at the most 3 years. They had so much faith in the drafted backup Grayson that they released him and then signed him after no one wanted him.
I'm doing what I said we didn't need to do.
