I'm not saying I don't like Houston rap. I just think the greatest accumulation of talent lies in other zip codes. I think several cities in the South could lay claim to that title other than Houston

New Orleans had a run in the late 90's to early 00's with No Limit, Mannie Fresh, etc. Atlanta had a run after that with Lil' Jon, Luda, TI and all of them. Then Lil Wayne was hot for several years after all that.
And that's pretty much where we are.
