You mean, instead of Wind Energy> that is the left's new darling, right?
Except...in states that added substantial wind energy components to their energy production, they did not show ANY significant reduction in Carbon Dioxide.
LINK /
It wasn’t too long before utility companies and independent energy experts calculated that the actual CO2 savings were miniscule (if any). This was due to the inherent nature of wind energy, and the realities of necessarily continuously balancing the grid, on a second-by-second basis, with fossil-fuel-generated electricity. The frequently cited Bentek study (How Less Became More) is a sample independent assessment of this aspect. More importantly, there has been zero scientific empirical proof provided by the wind industry to support their claims of consequential CO2 reduction.
Liberals come up with a "great" idea and then run head long forcing their ideas on everybody, then when said idea is proven to be worthless they come up with more unsubstantiated claims and run headlong into those...anything to force their will on others.

Lets keep the status quo (or in this case go backward) because everything will be okay for now.
Let's spend time, money, and resources on alt energies and degrade our children's lifestyles because a couple of computer models that have never accurately predicted anything tells us to.

Theyve also had a 1 child policy installed, and are on their way to having much cleaner energy. I don't see your point whatsoever.
If only we could do the one child policy for those that are on perpetual welfare.

What is the point of your post? We can have birds and also invest in clean energy.
Wind turbines are killing off an endangered species of bat at a much faster pace than expected, according to a study from the University of California.
The study found that the hoary bat population could decrease by 90 percent over the next 50 years as people build more wind turbines, according to the Daily Caller.
The results of the study suggest that construction of wind turbines would threaten the existence of migratory bats in North America.
“This new study is a clear warning signal that action is needed before the hoary bat population plummets and needs heroic measures to prevent its extinction,” Jamie Rappaport Clark, president of the environmental group Defenders of Wildlife, said in a statement.
Hawaii’s five major wind turbine farms are killing the hoary bats, Hawaii’s only native land mammal, about three times faster than predicted.
I like bats more than democrats.

Technically, Matthew made landfall as a Cat 1.

Another "this lifetime" thing. Is this why some of you don't understand evolution too? This stuff is in macro scales, every small step now is for 100-10000 years in the future. We aren't working towards green so I can see china run on solar power, we're working on it now so that they can be getting closer in 3000 AD. Every scientific discovery or progression was on the back of someone else, I still cannot for the life of me understand why you think this is so bad that china is taking these steps
So how many people have to die RIGHT NOW; to throw us back into the Stone Age so the people in 3000 AD have a place to stay?
How many people have to die to for you to achieve this radical exchange of wealth?
Because that's all it is. You've been duped.

That's of course BECAUSE of climate change............. But if we get hit by a hurricane, that's because of climate change, too. ALL weather is now "severe weather" because of climate change.
Rains? Climate change.
Doesn't rain? Climate change.
Hot? Climate change.
Cold? Climate change.
Don't you know anything?

Incredible coming from the religion of warmism. You really should ask yourself which side blackballs scientists, manipulates data, calls the science "settled", etc.
This exactly. If it was universally correct why would they be firing scientists who disagree? Why would they be fudging their data and covering up any data that disagrees with their opinion?

Can you tell me how we are going back to the "stone age"? Did they have solar and wind power that I don't know about? Are you sure thats not just you using some hyperbole again?
Oh you!

ffs grow up. Hurricane Matthew October 2016. better?
Yeah...no.
Overview
Hurricane Matthew moved north off the Florida east coast as a major hurricane before weakening to a Category 2 hurricane off the Georgia coast and then eventually making landfall around Cape Romain, South Carolina as a Category 1 hurricane during the late morning hours on October 8.

cyclones are not hurricanes. hurricanes are specific to the atlantic forming over the continent of africa.
we've redefined the two so that we can claim cyclones as evidence of global warming.

Because that is exactly what we will HAVE to do and how we will HAVE to live if the predictions that your religion has vomitted are correct and it's warming at an irreparable rate.
Jesus, do you know anything about this topic or just wear Berkenstocks on the weekends and at Jazz Fest?

China is putting green energy first by leaps and bounds in the next few decades. You literally cannot say anything negative about how much they are focusing on renewable energies.
Yea ask them how much coal and coke they burn which far outweighs their "green energy" push.

Oh...I think I understand you now. You are implying that if we all would just accept and promote your agenda, we would have no hurricanes. Hurricane Matthew would never have happened. Hurricanes would stop occurring. A natural weather event that has occurred for billions of years will be nullified by your good intentions. Why can't people just see this as truth is bewildering to me. Thanks for your efforts in ending hurricanes. Can y'all also stop tornados? God, I hope so. How did you even learn how to do this? And the children thank you too.

Once again, I was here for that hurricane. I helped clear the port. It was a CAT3 just off the coast and was a 2 when it hit us. Wherever it directly hit it could have been a 1 but all that surge (12 higher than normal) but was a 2-3 when it got us.
