re: Cry it out night 1, need some thoughts

Good luck, we are on night 4. Baby girl is 8 months old. We let her cry for 20 minutes and then would go into the room to soothe her. So far she has only made it to the full 20 minutes twice. All the other times she has calmed down and went back to sleep on her own.

I would say the biggest and hardest thing is to stay strong and resist the urge to go in right away or revert to whatever sleeping conditions you had before.
