OK, you got me. My pics are not like everyones and actually not even close to the pics you just posted. My pics are from an iPhone, through an Otter Case, in the rain, with bad exposure, with no one standing still!!

Plus, I have no idea how to post pics on here.

So I read this thread back when it was posted and made Iceland my first international trip (sans a cruise in the mid 90s to the Bahamas) to do.

I am looking at doing this in May, June or July in 2019 (yeah I know that's a ways off). My 3 year old will be 5, which I think will make the trip easier. 2018 vacays are booked already. It doesn't look like the temperature is drastically different in the fall/winter months but the amount of sunlight is.

Two questions:
1. Is there any reason May/June/July would not be a good idea? Asked another way, is there a good reason to go at a different time of the year?
2. How many days? I'm thinking 3-4 based on some of the posts in this thread.
