I did not know that you couldn't seal the paint can or let it dry out and throw it in a dumpster. How is that worse than other trash?

Because it bursts in the compactor or something and gets everywhere?

Granted, I've never disposed of paint before, so this is new to me.

For one or two cans, perhaps I could look the other way. But not for the amount that I have to dispose of.

That's why I want the "legal" way as my only option.
