I'm sure you agree your not winning a title with him as your #1 option, so wouldn't selling him at his highest point be the prudent option?

Ainge will have to have steel in his veins and get real value to trade Thomas right now. He is the team leader, without question. Boston could win 54 games or so this year and you trade your All-Star PG, team leader, fan favorite, and #2 scorer in the NBA on a top 5 team in the league. You better get value that clearly makes them better.
I agree that you can't be emotional about this, but that is Isaiah Thomas' team right now.
