just like in any deal maker we the people lose.
YOU LOSE EITHER WAY!
A filibuster-proof Senate saw to that in 2009.
All these guys can now do is work within the limits of reconciliation to begin to unwind the POS. They cannot rewrite the bill and pass it under reconciliation. Hell, it isn't even a certainty insurance coverage mandates can be eliminated IAW Senate rules.
You understand that, right?

I understand that this bill does nothing at all whatsoever to address rising premiums or healthcare costs.
That is all I need to know.
I know that government will NEVER give up the reins of control over anything. It will just transfer from a liberal control to republican control.
This bill, if passed, will never become more than anything but what it already is with Obamacare.
I have family in medicine who know just as much as anyone on here--worked in healthcare for 20 years--that say this bill is a massive failure. Where to begin and end would take us all day to flesh out.
If you believe passing shitty legislation is a 'gain' than so be it. It does absolutely nothing to address healthcare whatsoever. Nothing. Nada. Zero.
