Used to be a 6lb white crappie in the Louisiana record books caught in Westwood canal but heard that it was actually a gaspergou. The person who certified it was a little crazy

How many of you catch both in the same water? My two favorite places are black only. At TB it's usually 95/5 black to white where I fish. At Saline it's about 80/20 white to black. I don't catch them anywhere else.

Most places I fish it's about 80/20 White to black. Darbonne lake and ouachita river. There are some places like black bayou and cheniere lake (cypress lakes) it's 100% black. They seem to be more picky to me. Seem to bite good early morning and late evening

I seem to remember a huge sacalait that was caught in Bayou Segnette in Westwego that was in the top 10, but now I don't see it listed anymore.

We catch mostly blacks at TB. Those couple my dad caught on Thursday were the first whites I have seen in a while.

Looks to me that the farther north you go there, the more whites you catch

I didn't think state/world records could be caught in private ponds/Lakes??

That's got nothing on the perch those underwater welders saw that time at your local lock and dam. And don't even get me started on the catfish
