Surveillance is surveillance whether you are tapping phones, digging through trash, looking at electronic communications or anything else that lets you gather information on a person. You can laser focus on whether or not Trump's phones were physically tapped, but you can't ignore the growing mountain of evidence showing the President elect of the United States and those close to him were being surveilled by the outgoing administration. Furthermore if the previous admin can't come up with a legitimate reason for these actions, shite is going to hit the fan like you have never seen.

Also, how fricking stupid do you have to be to go leaking your activities to the press? Did they not think anyone would start asking questions when stories about Trump associates being wiretapped startrd showing up above the fold on the FRONT PAGE of the NYT's?
